Wasaga Beach Public Library Study

This building forms the western edge of the Town Centre precinct and is designed to reflect its natural and civic contexts. The fan-shaped plan spreads out towards the view of the Nottawasaga River to the north. The low, casual massing is arranged to reflect the resort atmosphere of the town, while the administrative wing provides a sharp edge to the parking court at the core of the site. The entrance canopy recalls a multi-coloured beach parasol.
